Kimmel & Colbert couldn't leave late night soon enough.

I've never watched either, but, of course, snippets were always shown on various Substacks...

Eat them. Sharks are people too, and wolves, and coyotes. A few years ago I put our very damaged chicken in a place where the coyote could eat it. Nature at work. Efficiency matters. Why can’t we do this with gangsters? In Florida, we feed them to alligators 🐊 Why can’t we also do this to annoying celebrities like Kimbo Karcrash? And her horrible sisters? The Jenners? And her annoying ex. Ze baaa or whatever it xe calls xirself today. 🐒

I am always shocked when the actors and actresses who never talk about politics feel compelled to spew negativity.... I miss the days of not knowing. There IS a way to keep political opinion out of your public image....

Yes, little Jimmy needs a new job at a hot dog stand. A push cart stand. Precisely and exactly like the one in the famous novel by a mr Kennedy. “A Confederacy of Dunces”. The setting was in New Orleans. Little Jimmy probably never got out much, and this could be his triumphant moment. Perhaps he could identify as the protagonist.

Dwane Almon had to eat a peach. His brother Greg had to marry Cher Bono. Which would you prefer? Of course, the peach 🍑 Dwane stayed true to his true southern roots.

As tempting as it is to drift into schadenfreude, I'm overriding that natural inclination at the departure of Colbert and Kimmel. I believe cancellation -- of anyone, right- or left-leaning, for expressing their views -- is the gateway drug to systemic censorship. And THAT is what we're being herded into accepting.

Thank you. I hate these dudes, but they have a right to speak their mind, just like Roseanne and Gina Carano.

Switch to something else. Coke is woke. Remember their employees are “too white”. I’ll never forget that and refuse to drink Coke, with a very few exceptions.

Sorry Sasha, what happened? He quit or was he fired? No worries either way.

I got the same 14 years ago. My VP hated me. And I was fired, along with 22,000 of my very closest friends on the very same day. What a coincidence!

Since then, I climbed mountains, up to more than 14,000 feet, travelled thousands of miles in our RV, across the USA and also to other places over the sea. This stupid man should be shouting now Praise God Almighty, I am free at last!!!! He is rich and should just shut up now and enjoy his great fortune now while he is young enough to enjoy it now. Where is your wife now and your children now? Life is short and then you die.

Wise words. My whole life here in flyover we looked forward to the Hollywood awards... until Obama or maybe Dubya. They turned us off and we were happy to oblige. Since the Scamdemic we have not missed anything while simply focusing on the Equalizer Series :-D. Denzel rules.

I never heard of The Book of Eli, but I just finished it. His prayer of thanksgiving at the end is phenomenal. Never thought I could love a post-apocalyptic movie.

Thank you!

I know! It was made in 2011 and I didn't find it until like 2015. Amazing how Hollyweird buries films they don't like.

Kimmel has always been a vile piece of shit. The Hollywood crowd hasn’t yet grasped - with some notable exceptions - that they are only entertainers, and filling the job of court fool; their political opinions are no more weighty than their historical predecessors.

Fascism at its best. Don’t dare have an original thought or, God forbid, disagree with His Majesty Trump, or you will be burned at the stake. Where will it end? With how intelligent & morally righteous the right touts themselves, you’d think that even they’d see how problematic this line of censorship could be when the tables are turned. How is what Kimmel said any more inflammatory than the Right’s immediate condemnation of the left, woke murderer, before we even had a suspect in custody? When will the appeal of openly espousing the hateful ideologies of their dictator lose its appeal? Maybe when they morph into one of the objects of ridicule that their emperor despises, and the sycophantic bullies start railing against them. Trump has no loyalty to anyone, except the almighty dollar. It’s just a matter of time when those currently basking in the light of acceptance, become the shunned. You love to see it. #MURRICA
