I appreciate what Matt Walsh and the Daily wire are doing. This movie and "What is a Woman?" seem to be a more sophisticated and entertaining advancement to what James O'keefe and Project Veritas started. The next advance is to get beyond the documentary or cinema verite phase and into good fictional writing and good acting that subtly embeds the desired message. This is how Hollywood does it and they're very good at it. Like Matt says, it has to be a good movie. People get tired of being slapped in the face with an obvious "message."
Thanks for the drop, Saha! I'm going to see this flick this weekend and can't wait. I'm also one of those who really liked Kevin Costner's Part 1 Horizon and really hope Part 2 comes out soon.
Movie was excellent. A good laugh when I needed it. The funniest part is just how stupid they are. They are clueless individuals. The normal people are the real stars. They are also the real America that I love.
Why did Jeremy Jahns sound so apologetic about reviewing the movie? I admire him for doing it- it's sad to have to qualify it - but still, it's a movie. The way he acts you'd think he was reviewing "Mein Kampf" the movie.
Thanks Sasha, I'm way too old for social media, I didn't like it when it first came out. I'll keep track from here, learn what I can. Every time I "click" on something, I'm asked to join something. Like I said, when my hearing began to fail, "I've heard enough. But, I do read, and watch every film made, from 1920 to 2000, especially the ones before 1980. Ever notice Dooley Wilson was a true "co-star," and the leading man's best friend, in 1942? They never made a thing out of that, just did it.
Nick Searcy is an actor and director with an impressive list of television and film credits, including The West Wing, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-O, Justified, Days of Thunder, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Fugitive, The Shape of Water, and Moneyball. He has also directed two films: Carolina Low and Gosnell, The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer.
But but but... Meryl Streep, and Ben Stiller, and Julia Roberts were at Oprah's interview of Kamala...
Turns out, pretty much nobody gives a shit who those people back for president. Hollywood, you are dead to me--and to most of the people of America.
An endorsement from one of these Hollywood tools makes me run the other direction.
It's a very entertaining documentary. Well done, and hilarious precisely because he plays it straight and lets the guests play their hands.

Right there with you on both counts...

Could “Silver Streak” be made today?
Yes. Cuz Pryor would stand up to this nonsense. (But I get ur point, obv)
"But you can start to build something in what is now a mostly vacant lot full of possibilities."
Excellent.
I had the same reaction! Sasha’s an amazing writer.

Excellent clip, thanks for posting!!
Thank You
Thx for introducing this to 'the other side'. We all agree on 95% of stuff....
It’s the Wild West of opportunities now because the Left has cut themselves off from their souls which is where creativity comes from.
All they can do now is to rehash what was brilliant in the 80s. They have become some intellectual that they’ve lost their common sense.
LET YOUR FREAK FLAG FLY!
Saw it! And it was great fun!!
Excellent news
