Who doesn't like a good vigilante movie, especially the kind the progs will call fascist? Dirty Harry caught the zeitgeist of the lawless age of feckless liberalism of decades past. Unforgiven got by the Hollywood censors because Clint had his vengeful cowboy protecting the honor of prostitutes. Let's hope it does well and sends the Karens into psychotic swoons.
Vigilante films go in cycles and the last one, in the early 70s was huge. The Dirty Harry, Death Wish and Billy Jack franchises, Walking Tall, Taxi Driver, Lone Wolf McQuade. The list goes on and on. The social issues are ripe for a big return for this genre. I called for it’s return during the Biden admin because of all the criminals need more protection than their victims nonsense. Hello Daniel Penny.
As a screenwriter who isn't woke, this is fantastic to hear. Action, thrillers, and psych-thrillers, are my favorite to write, would love to work with Uwe Boll. How do I make that happen...? I'm manifesting working with Uwe right now :)
When the ongoing zeitgeist believe rewarding crime, homelessness, and unfettered illegal immigration is humane, it implies those who think otherwise- those relying on facts and data- are immoral. They're asking us to say the emperor looks great in his new outfit, but when truth matters, it's our duty to point out the guy is buck naked.
I’m looking forward to watching a movie with some substance to it. I believe deep down many of us have the desire (in our wildest dreams) to take justice into our own hands.
We witness injustice every day with criminals released back onto our streets. After a while something’s gonna give.
You’re best interview Sasha. Hollywood historian you are. Old Testament rules Israel. Eye for an eye.
Munich was a fine film
until Spielberg went against his own tribe’s doctrine in that one scene. I was floored. And that was 2005! I read the book about the revenge killings. Great read.
Prior to Trump 2.0, we grew desperate for good movies and TV shows made before the DEI, Woke mind virus takeover. Dirty Harry was one of our first stops! From there we moved on to Blazing Saddles! Then decided to watch the entire 'House' series, this time with no missed episodes nor entire season. So much fun as each of these shows harkens back to the times we were living in when we still had freedom of thought, creativity, comedy and parody. The House series starts strong with no punches spared, but eventually, someone decided needed to lean toward soft porn, which was never needed if one has clever writers. Blazing Saddles is a reminder of where we were before someone convinced people that America was racist. Lol

In the end, this is how it turns out.
